India Association Nashville Chess Tournament in association with RobotiX Institute of Brentwood and Maths Karma.

Dates: 22 Feb 2025 (10a - 5p)

Format: Rapid Format (10 minutes plus 10 second increment) with 10 rounds

Venue: Brentwood Library at 8109 Concord Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027

Registration Opens: Jan25th, 2025 (Saturday)

Registration Closes: Feb 17th, 2025 (Monday)

Registration Fees

$25 for General Members (sign up for free), $15 for IAN Life Members (If you are life time member, sign up now at regular price and email to iantn.org@gmail.com for a $10 discount, collect on the event day)

IAN Chess Tournament - FAQ

Do you group the players based on the grade level?: Answer: This will be freestyle tournament but awards will be given on age level
What will be the schedule?: Answer: 10:00AM - Check In, 10:30 Start Round 1. Break 12:30-1:00, Post Lunch 1PM-4PM, Awards 4PM-5PM (Subject to change)
Everyone needs to play all 10 rounds? or only the winners will be promoted to the next levels?: Answer: You don’t have to play all 10 rounds but you may lose the opportunity to win awards
What happens if the participant is not available to play during his/her scheduled time? Answer: It's the responsibility of participants to inform the coordinators. Any no-shows will result in disqualification. Any excused absences will result in 0 points, and they will be allowed to play in future matches.
Is this a Scholastic chess tournament? Answer: It is not a scholastic tournament
What do I have to bring for the tournament? : Answer: Chess Board, all the pieces and Chess Clock.
