Namaste! My name is Anika Pandey, and I am currently a sophomore at Ravenwood High School as a member of various clubs and honors societies. Some of my hobbies include playing the violin, practicing Hindustani Classical singing, and learning more about international diplomacy! I’ve been a volunteer and part of IAN since 2023, and I’ve truly enjoyed seeing it grow! I’m currently serving as the Youth Committee Executive Coordinator, and I’m excited to see where IAN goes and what we do in the futur

My name is Rhucha Chawathe, and I am currently a sophomore at Central Magnet School. This past year, I joined the IAN Youth Committee to connect with and have a greater impact in my community. As a passionate musician and dancer, I enjoy performing at cultural events. In my free time, I often crochet and am an avid hiker.

Hi,I'm Anushka Singh and I am a freshman at Independence High School. I joined IAN the summer of last year to give back to my community as well as to experience new opportunities. I am passionate about tennis and, Art. In school I am involved in the National Art Society, Tennis, and Model United Nations    

Hi I'm Sumith Shivakumar and I'm a sophomore at Independence high school. I joined IAN because I wanted to give back to the Indian community and participate in the cultural festivals. I love playing my guitar and am fond of learning more about the Indian origins and cultures. I am part of some clubs like DECA, HOSA, SNHS, and have also started my own club called the geoguessr club to show that I have the ability to work and collaborate with others. 

Hello! My full name is Siddharth Sarmalkar, but most people call me Sid. I am a sophomore at RHS and have a passion for contributing to my community through service projects. In school, I am involved in several clubs, including Science Olympiad and HOSA, where I collaborate with my peers to grow as an individual. Outside of school, I enjoy swimming and participating in Boy Scouts. This is my first year volunteering as a coordinator at IAN, and I am excited to make this a remarkable year! 

Hi! My name is Chanchal Naresh Mirpuri and I am a freshman at ravenwood high school. I joined the IAN youth committee the summer of last year to connect with the people in my committee and to have a better experience with my culture. My hobbies are dancing and painting, along with my extracurriculars like Ravenwood-thon which is a fundraiser towards cancer research, and Cards For Hospitalized Kids where we create cards for kids who have been hospitalized.

My name is Medha Tandon and I am a sophomore at Ravenwood High School. My passions include staying involved with my community, playing tennis, dancing, and having fun with my family! I think of myself as a innovating and engaging person, so I constantly strive to do my best no matter the situation. I joined the IAN community to further learn about my culture and connect it to other people!

Hi! I’m Vivaan Rochlani and I am a sophomore at Ravenwood High School. My passions include photography and Bollywood dance. I joined IAN so I can help serve my community and reconnect with my Indian Heritage. Outside of School, I am a member of the RHS Robotics Team, take part in Model United Nations and Youth In Government conferences and I am a part of the RHS Student Congress.

I joined IAN because it helps me better connect with my society. IAN has helped me better connect with others and has helped me feel like I am part of the Indian community. Outside of school, I am on the high school swim team.Also I love to draw and sing!

I’ve been a volunteer for IAN for about two years with a mission of giving back to my community and connecting with my culture. I have many interests ranging from Public Health, Business, and more. Hello! My name is Agamya Singh, and I am a sophomore at Ravenwood High School. I have volunteered and worked with IAN since 2021, and I have enjoyed every minute of giving to my community. IAN has served as a way to connect with my culture, as well as provide multiple learning opportunities. Outside of school, I find interest in coding, tennis, art, and virtual design.

My name is Ritika Bharathan, and I am a sophomore at Centennial High School. I enjoy playing tennis, piano, and volunteering in my community. Currently, I am involved in MUN, TSA, Mu Alpha Theta, and tennis. I’ve been a volunteer at IAN since 2023!

Hi! I’m Daksh Mukerji, and I’m a sophomore at Ravenwood High School. I joined IAN because I wanted to give back to the Indian community and immerse myself more into my culture. I enjoy playing my violin, singing, playing tennis, and researching anything and everything. I am also a part of some clubs at my school, including YIG/MUN, DECA, HOSA, three honor societies, Speech, and Science Finds. 

Hi, I am Advay Kawthalkar, I'm a freshman at Independence High School. I joined IAN because I like giving back to my community and participating in cultural festivals. I am fond of learning about my culture and origins. I also enjoy playing the Flute and Guitar. I am in Chess Club and Geoguessr Club. Outside of school, I am interested in learning different languages and playing soccer.

My name is Aashvi Agarwal and I am a sophomore at Ravenwood High School. I joined IAN last year to connect with my culture and make an impact in my community. A couple of my hobbies include music, reading, and badminton. I am a part of multiple clubs like DECA, color guard, student council, mu alpha theta and more.
