30 Organizations [ Regional | Religious | Professional | Sports | Spiritual ]

Nashville is home to a vibrant and growing Indian community, with approximately 30,000 individuals contributing across nearly every professional sector—including information technology, healthcare, law, education, and entrepreneurship.
Representing the incredible diversity of India, there are around 30 Indian organizations in the city. These groups reflect the richness of India's many regions, languages, cultures, and religions—each bringing their unique heritage to the shared cultural fabric of Nashville.
In 2023, our association—the Indian Association of Nashville (IAN) along with all the 30 organizations and groups—launched the inaugural India Day Parade. What began as a vision to unify the community has now become a collective celebration, proudly hosted under the banner of ONE INDIA.
The parade is more than just a cultural event. It is a powerful symbol of unity in diversity, strength in togetherness, and a deep commitment to community. It showcases how Indian Americans in Nashville are not only preserving their rich heritage but are also actively contributing to local society—through volunteerism, civic engagement, and participation in all aspects of life.
As we continue to grow, we remain open, inclusive, and united—eager to support our neighbors and strengthen our shared future here in Music City.
